About Me
My name is Helen Tate and I have worked in education for the past 32 years, the majority of which in Early Years. My experiences during this time are varied. They include teaching in Early Years and Key Stage 1, being part of a school leadership team which includes the role of Deputy Headteacher of a Teaching School, providing guidance, training and support to colleagues within the Early Years Sector, along with working for Wiltshire Local Education Authority as an Early Years Teacher and Consultant. I have worked for Early Excellence and continue to be an Associate Curriculum Consultant.
I have worked closely with head teachers, senior leaders and practitioners across a variety of pre-school and school settings, supporting the development of high quality Early Years practice and provision within the Foundation Stage, both in the UK and internationally.
Companies & People I’ve Worked With
I have had the privilege of having Helen work in my schools for the past 10 years, first as a Headteacher, and then in my role as Deputy CEO working across our family of schools. Helen has supported us by leading our EYFS team meetings as well as providing individual support for schools. Helen’s passion for Early Years is infectious, her depth of knowledge inspires all she works with, not just our EYFS leaders, and as a result her training is always one of the first to be snapped up as our team want to learn with her. Her one-to-one support for settings has supported so many leaders in their EYFS improvement journey, and as a result the provision children receive when her advice is followed is a much richer experiences and children’s outcomes inevitably rise.
Helen Tate is an absolute gem in the realm of Early Years Consultancy! Having collaborated with her for several years, I can attest to her unparalleled expertise in early years pedagogy. What truly sets Helen apart is her remarkable ability to tailor her training sessions to the specific needs of each school she works with. Her adaptability ensures that every educator receives guidance that is not only relevant but also highly effective in enhancing their practices. Helen’s approachability makes her a joy to work with, fostering an environment where questions are encouraged and ideas flourish. If you’re seeking a consultant who combines deep knowledge with a personal touch, look no further than Helen Tate.
