Are you looking to implement or further explore the use of continuous provision in Y1 and possibly Y2? Then this full day of exploring possibilities in the development of CP in the classroom to support and enhance learning will support you in this journey. There will also be an opportunity to hear from colleagues who have successfully implemented CP in their classrooms. We will discuss:

  • Considerations when creating an appropriate and enabling learning environment, indoors (and outdoors if possible) as children move from Reception to Y1
  • How the environment can support teaching and learning of key skills and knowledge in Y1
  • The varied roles of the educator in ensuring children make progress in learning and development in different contexts
  • Documentation of independent learning
  • Sharing effective practice from other schools
